While Vidya was awarded the Best Actress-Drama and Anushka was given a trophy in the romance/comedy genre, Bipasha received the Best Actress award in the thriller-action category

In what is getting to be a very predictable victory, Vidya Balan has bagged yet another trophy for her performance in The Dirty Picture. She was adjudged the Best Actress–Drama at the 10th Max Stardust Awards. However, this time around, her two contemporaries bagged trophies too. Anushka Sharma won the Best Actress – Comedy/Romance award for Ladies vs Ricky Bahl while Bipasha Basu walked away with the Best Actress – Thriller/Action award for Dum Maaro Dum. Giving Vidya company in the Drama category was Hrithik Roshan who won the Best Actor trophy for his intense performance in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. However, Anushka’s co-star Ranveer Singh lost out to Akshay Kumar (Desi Boyz) in the Comedy/Romance category while Ajay Devgan trumped Abhishek Bachchan to take home the Best Actor – Thriller/Action award for Singham. Ajay stayed away from the event and it was up to wife Kajol and director Rohit Shetty to accept the award on his behalf. Rekha was given the Role Model of the Industry award for inspiring new talent.
