Priyanka Chopra dedicates a month to her upcoming album

 

The Don 2 actor will take time out from her film commitments to focus on her debut album this April

Priyanka Chopra is almost done with two projects – Barfi! with Ranbir Kapoor and Kunal Kohli’s love saga with Shahid Kapoor. The actor will start shooting for Krrish 3 soon and her date diary for the second half of 2012 still remains empty. Yet, the actor looks hesitant to take up new projects like Race 2. The reason for that is that Piggy Chops wants to finish recording her album and has no time to listen to fresh scripts right now. Recently during one of her media interactions, Priyanka revealed that she will be busy finishing the work on her album before she moves on to other commitments. “I am yet to record some more music for my upcoming album,” she said.

Piggy Chops, who is trained in western classical music and has nurtured the dream of writing and recording songs in English, signed a music contract with Universal Music Group (UMG) and Desi Hits! last year. Priyanka has already recorded some portions on her earlier trip to LA but there’s still a major part of recording left to be done. So the actor will travel to USA in April 2012 and complete work on the album. But at a press conference held in Berlin the actor quickly clarified that she is not taking a break from the movies and acting remains her first priority. That statement is probably a signal to all the directors out there who are keen on signing the jungli billi!
